My Knight train seems to be skipping the internal gears I have got it apart to the lower assemble but don't know how to get it further apart without breaking it It seems that the wheels need to come off. Does anyone know how to take them apart?

Can you post a pic, so we can see what you are looking at. I don't have that train, so not sure if it is put together the same or not.
